CyberArk, an identity security solutions provider, has opened a new facility in Hyderabad, India. It is the first time an Israeli technology company has chosen Hyderabad as its research and development centre, and it is also CyberArk's largest R&D resource outside of Israel. The new centre will focus on developing solutions to protect against cyberattacks. The inauguration was attended by IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao, who stated that with increasing use of technology, security has become important and real wars could happen in cyber worlds. He urged CyberArk to start looking at Indianised solutions, as each country and region has its own set of local challenges. The opening of the facility is expected to create new jobs and opportunities and help establish Hyderabad as a hub for cyber security expertise.
