Hyderabad: A passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad caused a major disruption to airport operations after making a hoax bomb threat call on Monday. The individual, identified as Ajmira Bhadraiah, was attempting to catch a flight to Chennai on IndiGo Airlines but missed the boarding time. In response, he made a call to the airport claiming that a bomb had been planted on the plane. The airport authorities immediately halted the flight and evacuated all passengers and staff, deploying a dog squad, bomb squad, and other teams to search for any potential threats. However, after a thorough search, no suspicious objects were found, and it was determined that the call was a hoax made by Bhadraiah from within the RGIA premises.
