Srisailam: In a shocking incident, a water-streaming boiler exploded in the Srisailam Devasthanam Nityannadana building, reportedly due to the negligence of the Annadana staff. According to the sources, the explosion caused panic among employees and devotees. Fortunately, a major disaster was avoided as the explosion occurred outside the Nityannadana building. The staff reported that the pressure in the boiler, caused by the rise in temperature, led to the explosion. Despite this, hot water splattered around when the explosion took place, resulting in seven people being injured. The injured were quickly transported to the Devasthanam hospital for treatment. Temple officials are now on the scene, assessing the situation.
