Vijayawada: On Wednesday, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan kicked off his campaign for the state elections in his specially-designed vehicle, "Varahi." After offering special prayers at the Kanaka Durga temple, Pawan officially began his campaign, stating that he is on a mission to end the current corrupt rule in the state. He plans to conduct state-wide campaigns in his vehicle. An interesting moment captured on cameras showing Pawan touched the hand of his fan from campaign vehicle who tried to give shake hand to his favourite leader. During his visit to the temple, Vedic scholars and the temple's executive officer D Bramaramba greeted Pawan and offered special prayers at the Sanctum Sanctorum. The temple priests performed traditional rituals, including "Vahana Pooja" for the vehicle Varahi.
