Tollywood lyricist Anantha Sriram has found himself in controversy again, after allegedly making offensive comments against members of the Bhatraju community. According to reports, Anantha Sriram made the comments during a Sankranti event in Palakollu. He is alleged to have used the term "Bhatraju Pogadthalu," which is considered hurtful to members of the Bhatraju community. The community members of Bhatraju community have filed a complaint with the Superintendent of Police in Anantapur, stating that the use of the term Bhatraju Pogadthalu is banned by the Andhra Pradesh state government but Anantha Sriram allegedly used the term.
