The ruling party leaders of the YSRCP have complained to the Guntur SP about TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, claiming that he is to blame for the Guntur stampede incident, which occurred on January 1, 2023 and resulted in three fatalities and numerous injuries. They have pushed for the accusation of Chandrababu to be listed in A1. Mayor Kavati Manohar asserted that only Chandrababu Naidu's public meeting was to blame for the event. At least three people were killed and several others were injured in a stampede incident during Chandranna Kanuka distribution program in Guntur after TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu left the place after his speech.
