At Chennaraopeta in the Warangal district on Monday, police detained YSR Telangana Party president Sharmila. The cops later transported her to Hyderabad. On the other hand, Sharmila left her Lotus Pond home today to launch protest against the government. In the incident from yesterday, the caravan was set on fire, and one of the cars' windows was shattered because of an alleged attack by TRS activists. YS Sharmila attempted to proceed toward Pragathi Bhavan while protesting in the same damaged vehicle. She was stopped by the police at the Panjagutta signals. Sharmila was asked to exit the vehicle by the police, but she resisted. As YSRCP activists flocked to the area in significant numbers, tension persisted. After that, the police shifted her car to the SR Nagar police station while tying it to a traffic crane vehicle. Throughout the trip, she stayed inside the vehicle, without opening the windows.
