Tamil Nadu: In a shocking incident, a temple tower of the Bathirakaliamman in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu caught fire due to firecrackers used in the neighbourhood function. According to the reports, the scaffolding was put up to renovate the tower of the Bathirakaliamman temple. On Sunday, some locals fired crackers in the wedding ceremony and unexpectedly the scaffolding of the tower caught fire and the visuals are now going viral on the internet. After getting the information from the locals, the fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire. The police filed a case and an investigation is underway.
