The Supreme Court has removed the constraints placed on the SIT's ability to look into the ' poaching of MLAs' matter. The High Court's single judge's judgement placing limitations on the Special Investigation Agency was overturned by the bench. The supreme court also stated that it was reluctant to hear either of the petitions that the accused had submitted. It declared that it would stay out of the situation. The accused's appeal for the case to be dismissed was likewise rejected by the top court. The SIT should continue to look into the case, according to the court's directive.
