The trekking Telugu team has successfully reached at Everest base camp. At a height of 5,364 metres, a group of 23 Telugu mountaineers under the direction of Dr. Nimmagadda Seshagiri Rao from London arrived at base camp. The team that began the Everest ascent needed 10 days to go from Lukla in Nepal's "Solokhumbu" area to base camp. Dr. Nimmagadda Seshagiri Rao claimed that despite the challenging environment, the climbers had fun. He claimed that snow sheets from some adjacent mountains collapsed on the way to the Everest Base Camp. He claimed that the Telugu team had successfully escaped and arrived at their intended destination. ''Our oxygen levels were between 70 and 80 while trekking, but we overcame them,'' according to a team lead by Dr. Nimmagadda Seshagiri Rao.
