Jayaprakash Narayan comments on AP State capital and on state politics
According to Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan, Andhra Pradesh's political parties are not particularly concerned about the state's future. Jayaprakash Narayan, often known as JP, has reacted to the current political environment in Andhra Pradesh amid the state capital protest issue by alleging that parties are apparently only interested in gaining power.
JP has argued that instead of wasting time on the state capital and related concerns, members of the ruling party should concentrate on the development of the state. JP referred to the state's current political climate as being both undemocratic and unconstitutional, and he cited a court's decision that stated that the subsequent government can not violate the state capital issue once it had been declared through constitutional means and received universal acceptance. He has suggested the state government to abide by the High Court's ruling on the issue of the state capital.
