New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India started live-streaming its constitution bench proceedings from today i.e, September 27th onwards. It will hear the pleas challenging reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections and issue over the control of services between the Centre and the Delhi government. The apex court will also hear the key cases including Maharashtra political row. Earlier, a bench headed by CJI Uday Umesh Lalit stated that the apex court will soon have its own platform for live streaming of its proceedings instead of YouTube. The bench stated this when the former BJP leader Govindacharya's counsel raised the copyright of Supreme Court's proceedings should be surrendered to private platforms.
