Lawyers in Anantapur have launched a campaign to establish a high court in Rayalaseema. A gathering was held on the grounds of the Anantapur court by bar association leaders and attorneys. They raised slogans for the establishment of a high court in Rayalaseema for its development in accordance with the Sri Bagh Convention. They said that the state government erred by failing to provide clarification regarding the High Court's construction, which has continued for three years despite a previous promise. Since Anantapur district is a drought-stricken area and Kurnool is a flooded area, steps should be taken to build the High Court in Anantapur, the lawyers demanded.
