Dulquer Salmaan is now promoting Sita Raman, his upcoming film. On the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of renowned director Guru Dutt, the creators of the movie Chup, which stars Dulquer Salman in the lead role, have released a brief teaser. The tagline for it is "Revenge Of The Artist." Pooja Bhatt and Sunny Deol also had significant parts in the movie.

Following Padman, renowned director R. Balki makes a comeback with this movie. In an intriguing teaser, Dulquer can be seen crafting a paper bouquet and Shreya Dhanwanthary can be heard stating "Kaagaz Ke Phool." Back then, Guru Datt's romantic drama Kaagaz Ke Phool was heavily criticised.

The movie, according to rumours, is a tribute to Guru Datt. It is funded by Rakesh Jjunjhunwala, R Balki, and Gauri Shinde. Amit Trivedi composed the music.
