Telangana High Court dismisses Sai Pallavi plea

Hyderabad: A big shock to Tollywood actress Sai Pallavi after Telangana state High Court dismissed the petition filed by her seeking to cancel the notices issued by the police over her alleged comments on cow vigilantes. Her comments created a storm on social media and a Bajrang Dal activist filed a complaint against her at Sultan Bazar police station.

After receiving the complaint, the police issued a notice to the actress requiring her presence. The actress filed a petition in the state High Court seeking the cancellation of the notice. Justice K Lalitha dismissed the plea filed by the actress citing there is no need for the Court's intervention at this stage.
