Chandrababu praises Balakrishna and slams CM Jagan at Mahanadu Program
TDP chief and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has slammed CM Jagan and his administration. On Saturday, Chandrababu addressed a large crowd at the Mahanadu Conclave in Ongole that no one in the state is happy with CM Jagan's administration. With the slogan 'Quit Jagan, save Andhra Pradesh,' the former Chief Minister has slammed the police for barring his party cadre from attending the Mahanadu programme. On that occasion, the TDP Chief issued a warning to the police and reminded them of his previous governance and his stance toward the police and judicial system.
Chandrababu has criticised Jagan's approach to the Telugu film industry and how he caused problems for the industry by evading film permissions.
He noted the release of Balakrishna's recent Akhanda film and the government's refusal to allow extra screenings. He stated that Balakrishna launched his film without hesitation and that it was a success.
"If you have to provide permission to the films, tomorrow when I become CM, I would have to give permission to your newspaper (Sakshi)," Chandrababu Naidu said. He described how their 'Badude Badudu' programme was successful in the face of objections from the ruling YSRCP during the Gadapa Gadapaki programme.
TDP is surging into power, according to Chandrababu Naidu, and no one can stop it. He urged all party workers and leaders to work together to ensure the party's triumph.
