Jayaprada reveals unknown facts about NTR- Interview

Jayaprada, a senior actress turned politician, stated that they held high admiration for late NT Rama Rao. Jayaprada revealed an undisclosed incident during the zenith of her acting career in an interview with a media outlet. The actress stated that someone from late NTR's office called her early in the morning and requested her to meet the star. In response to a query, the actress described the events that led to her joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1994 at the request of its founder, N. T. Rama Rao.

'We all wanted to see NT Rama Rao as the state's Chief Minister, and he was made in a dramatic way,' the senior actress remarked.

She further stated that late NTR was a down-to-earth person who was aware of the plight of the underprivileged. She praised late NTR's humanitarian efforts and committed life to a cause.
