In an unusual demonstration against caste prejudice, Congress Chamarajapete MLA and former minister BZ Zameer Ahmad Khan fed a Dalit seer from his own hand and devoured the same chewed food from his own hand. The viral social media video shows Khan feeding Swami Narayana and requesting him to take out the chewed food and feed him. In response to the MLA's request, the Swami regretfully serves him the same food. On Sunday, the incident occurred during a city function. Previously, Khan sparked controversy at a hijab hearing in the Karnataka High Court by claiming that the head scarf protects women's beauty from possible rapists.
