CM KCR speech at Ugadi celebrations at Pragathi Bhavan

At the Ugadi festival celebration in Pragathi Nagar, Hyderabad, Bachampally Santosh Kumara Shastri, a brahmin priest, recited the new Ugadi calendar. On Saturday, Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao attended the Ugadi celebrations at Pragati Bhavan. State ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, and others also attended the occasion.


On the occasion of Ugadi, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao stated that the administration will continue to work toward a golden Telangana that is free of discrimination.

The chief minister spoke on the occasion and wished everyone in the state happiness and peace. Evil forces attempted to stifle Telangana's development, but it is now ahead of all other states in the country," he said. Telangana has experienced tremendous growth, and everyone should continue to move forward. 'We will lead the country, and other states should follow Telangana's lead,' he remarked.

Land prices have risen across the state, according to the chief minister, and real estate values are now worth crores. He stated that the state can thrive in all areas if people from all walks of life are encouraged. CM KCR has stated that his government is dedicated to implementing the dalit bandhu programme. KCR remarked that Mission Bhagiratha, Kaleswaram Projects, and other social projects serve as a model for other states.

Pragathi Bhavan had its last Ugadi celebrations in 2018. There were no celebrations in 2019 because of the Lok Sabha election code, and in 2020 and 2021 because of Covid limitations.
