The Andhra Pradesh government has permitted India's biggest multi-starrer RRR to raise ticket rates, according to Minister Perni Nani. According to the GO, movies with a budget of 100 crore rupees (excluding cast and crew remunerations) will be allowed to increase ticket prices. The minister stated that the first 10 days of the RRR film, which will be released on the 25th of this month, will shortly be given the green light to raise ticket prices. The government will make the ultimate decision after reviewing the application submitted by RRR movie team, Minister said. According to the AP Cinematography Minister, RRR is authorised five shows each day. He stated that if a film with a low budget (less than 20 crores) is screened alongside a big budget film, only one show of the small film will be allowed every day. The government will develop an online cinema ticketing system by May, according to the minister.
