Telangana Government Announces Snacks Menu for 10th Grade Students
The Telangana government has finalized a snacks menu for 10th-grade students in government schools as they prepare for their board examinations. This initiative aims to provide nutritious evening snacks during study hours.
Officials have decided to serve a different snack each day, including millet biscuits, peanut chikki, boiled chickpeas, onion pakoras, and sprouted green gram. These snacks are designed to offer energy and nutrition to students during their study sessions.
A budget of ₹15 per student per day has been allocated for this initiative. Funds will be transferred to the respective School Management Committee (SMC) accounts to facilitate implementation.
The 10th-grade board exams in Telangana are scheduled from March 21 to April 2. The snack distribution program will be in effect from February 1 to March 20 during evening study hours to support students in their exam preparations.
