One died, four injured in police firing at Secunderabad railway station
The police fired bullets as agitators started pelting stones towards them. A youngster, who was seriously injured, died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Government Hospital. Even though, protests erupted against the new Agnipath Scheme in several parts of the country but today’s stir at Secunderabad railway station turned violent.
Protesters are not leaving railway station despite police officials are requesting them. Cops want to clear agitators from the railway station as early as possible so that normalcy is restored. The South Central Railway (SCR) authorities suspended train services in the wake of violence.
