Amaravati, Sep 16 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being organised in Varanasi to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service on Thursday.

Chandrababu Naidu will depart from Vijayawada at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday and reach Varanasi at 9:35 a.m. He will first have darshan of Sri Kashi Vishwanath at 11:15 a.m. Later, he will proceed to the Rudraksha International Convention Centre and participate in the flag-off ceremony of the Seva Yatra.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), he will depart from Varanasi at 3:10 p.m. and reach Amaravati at 5:15 p.m.

As part of month-long programmes being organised across the country to commemorate Narendra Modi’s journey in public life as Chief Minister and Prime Minister, the ‘Varanasi–Vadnagar Seva Yatra’ is being conducted in Kashi.

The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will connect Varanasi and Vadnagar, two places that share a special association with Prime Minister Modi’s public life.

The campaign seeks to convey the message that public participation, a spirit of service and social responsibility are vital to the country’s development journey.

The programme is being organised with the inspiration that every village, every family, every youth and every woman should become a participant in the development process.

Chandrababu Naidu is the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), a partner in the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.

He is heading the TDP-led NDA government in Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Lanka Dinakar, Chairman, Implementation of Twenty Points Programme, Government of Andhra Pradesh, told a press conference at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi that on 7 October 2001, Narendra Modi assumed office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. On 7 October 2026, he will complete 25 years of continuous public service as the head of a government.

“This is more than a personal milestone. It represents a governance journey that began in Gujarat and subsequently expanded nationally through programmes focused on development, welfare, financial inclusion, infrastructure, technology-enabled governance and structural reforms,” he said.
