Bigg Boss Karate Kalyani lands in trouble over adoption

Hyderabad, May 16: Based on the complaint, officials of the Childline and District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) raided the residence of Tollywood actor and Bigg Boss fame Karate Kalyani here with the help of police and enquired with her mother and bother about children adopted by her. They told them that they received a complaint to toll free number 1098 and asked them as to whether children were adopted as per the procedure or not. 
 
At the time of raid, Kalyani was not present in her house. Her mother told officials that she went to visit a temple in Sangareddy. Actor’s mother Vijayalakshmi informed the DCPU officials that they have adopted a girl child from a family in Hyderabad with their consent. In the past, Kalyani had adopted a baby boy from Srikakulam district. Now, the age of the boy is 12 years. The DCPU officials and police tried to contact Kalyani over phone but they couldn’t reach her.
