KGF2 breaks Rajamouli’s RRR record before its release
KGF2, the period action entertainer, starring Yash is all set for release throughout the country in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. In north India, pre-bookings were opened for more than 3,000 screens on Thursday. According to sources, advance bookings for KGF2 has surpassed Rajamouli’s RRR. As few days are left for release, pre-bookings for single screens will open on Monday.
Senior Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon are playing key roles in KGF2 directed by Prashanth Neel and bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur. The other star cast of the flick are Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Anant Nag, Ramachandra Raju, Malavika Avinash, Eswari Rao and Rao Ramesh.
Meanwhile, producers of KGF2 are planning to approach the AP and Telangana governments over ticket prices. As the budget of the movie has crossed Rs 100 crore, the makers want to request the governments of Telugu states to allow for ticket price hike.
