Bail Granted to PSR Anjaneyulu in Jethwani Case

Senior Indian Police Service officer PSR Anjaneyulu has been granted bail by the Andhra Pradesh High Court in a case involving allegations made by Mumbai-based actress Kadambari Jethwani. The bail was issued on Thursday with several conditions imposed by the court.

The primary allegation against PSR Anjaneyulu, who is named as the second accused (A2) in the case, pertains to the registration of a false case against Kadambari Jethwani during the previous YSR Congress Party-led government. It is alleged that he orchestrated her unlawful arrest and subjected her to mental harassment.

Following these accusations, officers from the State Crime Investigation Department (CID) took PSR Anjaneyulu into custody last month and conducted an investigation. After the inquiry, he approached the High Court seeking bail.

Considering his petition, the High Court granted conditional bail, stating that further proceedings in the case will continue.
