Hearing on Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Bail Petition Adjourned; Court Issues Key Directions to Police
Vallabhaneni Vamsi, YSR Congress Party leader and former Member of the Legislative Assembly, remains in judicial custody at the Vijayawada Sub-Jail despite securing bail in several cases. In a recent development, the Nuzvid Court conducted a hearing today on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Vallabhaneni Vamsi in connection with the fake land deed distribution case.

During the proceedings, the court issued crucial directions to the police, instructing them to file a counter in the matter. Following this, the court adjourned the next hearing to tomorrow.

Vallabhaneni Vamsi is currently a remand prisoner at the Vijayawada Sub-Jail. He is facing multiple criminal cases, including charges related to the kidnapping of Satyavardhan, an attack on the Telugu Desam Party office in Gannavaram, illegal mining activities, and the distribution of counterfeit land deeds. Although he has been granted bail or anticipatory bail in several of these cases, he cannot be released from prison unless bail is secured in the remaining cases as well.
