Vallabhaneni Vamsi Sent to 14-Day Judicial Custody in Fake Patta Case
In connection with a case involving the alleged distribution of fake housing patta documents, former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days. The Nuzvid court issued the same remand order for Mohan Rangarao, a close associate of Vallabhaneni Vamsi and a co-accused in the case.

The allegations pertain to the distribution of fraudulent housing patta documents in Bapulapadu Mandal, located within the jurisdiction of Eluru district. Based on these accusations, a case was filed against Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Mohan Rangarao.

Following a preliminary inquiry, the Nuzvid court on Friday ordered both individuals to remain in judicial custody until May 29. The court has also reportedly granted permission to issue a production transit (PT) warrant against both accused individuals, facilitating their appearance in other related investigations or cases.

Despite having secured bail in several other cases, Vallabhaneni Vamsi continues to face remand in pending cases. As a result, there is little likelihood of his release in the near future.
