Indian techie falls to death in Sydney while talking to his wife

Melbourne, April 2: A 29-year-old Indian IT analyst, identified as Pankaj Saw, died after falling from the balcony of a third floor flat of an apartment in Sydney, police claimed today. Local police said Pankaj Saw was reportedly talking to his wife in India on the phone when he is said to have fallen from the balcony in Macquarie Park at about 1 am, local time, today. a NSW Police statement said, “About 1 am (Thursday, April 2), emergency services were called in to a unit block on Cottonwood Crescent, following reports of a man falling from a balcony.” The statement further said, “On arrival, NSW Ambulance Paramedics located a man in his 30s, with serious head and internal injuries, however the man died at the scene. It’s believed the man fell from a third floor balcony.” The police is also said to have found a smashed cordless phone handset on the concrete below the balcony. Police were preparing a report for the coroner. Saw was working for an Indian IT firm in North Sydney. The company's manager, Karen Waller, is reported to have said that Saw had recently returned from India after getting married, police said.
