Bollywood Journalist Labels Vijay Deverakonda as a Tier-2 Hero
Vijay Deverakonda is one of the actors who has garnered significant popularity in the Telugu film industry. After delivering several hit films, Vijay Deverakonda rose to the status of a star. Recently, comments made by prominent Bollywood film journalist Himesh Mankad have sparked a controversy within the film industry. Himesh Mankad stated that he was shocked by the kind of publicity Vijay Deverakonda received from the Bollywood media. He remarked that during the trailer launch event of Liger, the Bollywood media projected Vijay Deverakonda as a major superstar. However, he claimed that when one looks at the Telugu film industry, Vijay Deverakonda is not actually a big star.
He further commented that Vijay Deverakonda should be considered only a "Tier-2" hero. These remarks have now become a topic of discussion across industry circles.
