Police Officer Dies in Lift Accident in Sircilla
A senior police officer lost his life in a lift accident in Rajanna Sircilla district. The incident occurred in a building in Sircilla when the officer, believing that the lift had arrived, stepped forward and fell into the shaft. He landed on the lift below and succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased officer has been identified as Gangaram, aged 55. He was serving as the Additional Commandant of the 17th Battalion of Telangana Special Police. Previously, he had held the position of Chief Security Officer at the Telangana Secretariat.
