Court Approves Three-Day Police Custody for Veeraraghava Reddy in Chilukuru Priest Attack Case
A local court has granted police custody of Veeraraghava Reddy, the prime accused in the attack case against Chilukuru Balaji Temple’s chief priest, Rangarajan. The Rajendranagar court, where the police had filed a petition seeking seven days of custody, approved a three-day custodial interrogation. Authorities will take Veeraraghava Reddy into custody starting tomorrow for further investigation.

The recent attack on priest Rangarajan at the Chilukuru Balaji Temple created a stir across the Telugu states. Various political parties condemned the assault, while several political leaders and representatives of different organizations visited Rangarajan to express solidarity.
