Not good to wait for completion of Polavaram Project: Babu

Hyderabad, March 20, 2015: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has asserted in the assembly on Friday that it is not good for people to wait for the completion of Polavaram Project. "Despite the criticism and objections from several quarters, we have taken up the Pattiseema project and decided to complete it fast despite strong objections from several quarters ," he told the members. It is not good for us to wait till we complete the Polavaram project, he said , giving an assurance that Government will not do any injustice to the people of Godavari districts. He said people have understood the seriousness of the drought conditions in the state. "Notwithstanding the drought conditions,we have achieved progress in agriculture and its subsidiary sectors," he said , citing some figures in this context.
