Union Budget 2025-26: Key Allocations for Andhra Pradesh

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for the 2025-26 financial year in Parliament. As part of the budget, several allocations have been made for Andhra Pradesh, with a particular focus on the Polavaram Project and Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

    Roads and Bridges in the State – ₹240 crore
    Zero Budget Natural Farming – ₹186 crore
    Learning Transformation Operations – ₹375 crore
    Strengthening of Healthcare Systems – ₹162 crore
    Andhra Pradesh Irrigation and Livelihood Improvement Project (Phase 2) – ₹242.50 crore
