Alongside Rohit, three other Indian players—Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Arshdeep Singh—secured their places in the squad, reflecting India's remarkable performances during the T20 World Cup 2024.
India clinched the T20 World Cup title last year, with stellar contributions from the aforementioned players. Australia’s Travis Head, England’s Phil Salt, Pakistan’s Babar Azam, and West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran (as wicketkeeper) feature in the team, alongside Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga.
