Balakrishna Responds to Tirupati Stampede Incident

Hindupur MLA and prominent actor Nandamuri Balakrishna expressed deep sorrow over the recent stampede incident that occurred during the issuance of Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan tokens in Tirupati two days ago. Balakrishna stated that the incident, which led to the loss of lives, profoundly disturbed him. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls. “This is an unfortunate event that should never have happened,” he remarked.

Balakrishna, who is set to release his upcoming film 'Daaku Maharaj' under the direction of Bobby for the Sankranti festival, addressed the matter during a pre-release event held in Hyderabad on Friday evening. He revealed that the team initially planned to conduct the pre-release function in Anantapur but canceled the event following the tragic incident in Tirupati. On behalf of the film’s team, he extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the tragedy.
