Hyderabad Faces Moderate Rainfall and Rising Cold

Hyderabad witnessed moderate rainfall in various areas on Thursday, leading to a significant drop in temperatures. The sudden showers created a chilly atmosphere across the city, causing inconvenience to people commuting for work or heading home.

The rainfall was reported in Secunderabad, Tirumalagiri, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Borabanda, Kukatpally, Koti, Habsiguda, Tarnaka, Nampally, and Himayat Nagar, among other locations. Coupled with a noticeable rise in cold weather intensity, many residents found it challenging to step outside.

The Meteorological Department had earlier forecasted cloudy skies with mist and light rain in Hyderabad. It also predicted temperatures to range between 20°C and 25°C. Several districts in Telangana were expected to experience light to moderate rainfall, according to the Hyderabad Weather Center.
