Telangana High Court Declines to Postpone Group-2 Exams

The Telangana High Court has ruled against postponing the Group-2 exams conducting by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC). The court heard petitions requesting a date change due to the Railway Recruitment Board exam scheduled on December 16, coinciding with the Group-2 exam. Petitioners argued that holding both exams on the same day would cause difficulties for candidates appearing for both.

After reviewing the matter, the High Court rejected the plea, citing that necessary arrangements for conducting the exams were already in place. The court emphasized that postponing the Group-2 exams at this stage would affect lakhs of candidates.

TGPSC's legal counsel informed the court that candidates had already downloaded their hall tickets, reinforcing that a date change would disrupt the examination process. Considering these factors, the court dismissed the petitions, affirming that the exams would proceed as scheduled.
