Pawan Kalyan asks Govt to put on hold land acqusition
Undavalli (Guntur district), March 5, 2015: Actor Pawan Kalyan, who arrived at Undavalli to undertake a tour of Capital city villages, told farmers that he came here to know their problems and fight on their behalf. He appealed to the Government, especially Minister Narayana and Pulla Rao, to put on hold the notification over land acquisition from farmers till a full debate takes place. Pawan said he will also raise the issues with Chief Minister Chandrababu and promised to fight on behalf of people whenever injustice is caused to them. "I came here to asses your problems and take up your cause," he told farmers at Undavalli, adding that he will meet ministers Prathipati Pulla Rao and P.Narayana to discuss the farmers' problems. Pawan said that there should be a full debate over land pooling for the construction of Capital city to ensure that full justice is done to farmers. Farmers should not shed tears over land acquisition, he said and remarked. : "Constructing such a capital is not good. It will not keep any one happy." Pawan Kalyan left for Penumaka village from Undavalli. From Penumaka, he will tour some other villages.
