Tough time for cops as AP, TS to have budget session at the same time
Hyderabad, Feb 14: The watch and ward employees and police will have a tough time as legislative assemblies and councils of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are scheduled to have their Budget Sessions at the same time in March. The AP Assembly and Council are to begin their budget session from March 7, while Telangana's budget session may start either on March 6 or 9, according to sources. Post bifurcation, the budget sessions for the two state houses are expected to have their sessions at the same time in view of a statutory deadline of passing financial bills before March 31, sources said. Speaking to media persons in this connection, Hyderabad Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy said, “Generally we will act on the instructions of Presiding Officers. We will not take any independent decisions on security plans. I hope this time we will have a joint meeting with Presiding Officers. It may not be a problem if TS and AP use one gate each for entry and exit. Anyway we will discuss the issue with all concerned.”
