MRPS activists set TDP stage on fire at Warangal, warn of more attacks
Warangal, Feb 12, 2015: MRPS activists , who are angry with AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for not keeping his promise on classification of SCs, have set on fire the stage erected at Hayagreevachari ground near Hanmakonda bus stand in Warangal district where Naidu is expected to address a public meeting today. A portion of the stage, along with some furniture, chairs, has been completely burnt in the fire. Warangal district MRPS leaders, who said it was their activists who set fire to the stage, warned of more such things and more surprises before Chandrababu arrives at Warangal. Meanwhile, MRPS activists gathered at several places on Hyderabad-Warangal highway and are raising slogans against Chandrababu who is on his way to Warangal to address a public meeting. "Chandrababu cheated us on the classification issue," they told reporters. Earlier, Warangal TDP leaders have alleged that it was TRS activists who had set on fire the stage.
