Kejriwal meets Venkaiah, seeks full-fledged state status for Delhi

New Delhi , Feb 11, 2015: Chief Minister designate of Delhi and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal called on Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu this morning here along with party senior leader Manish Sisodia. The AAP leaders requested Venkaiah Naidu to take steps to regularize the unauthorised houses in several colonies of Delhi wherein some 60 lakh people are residing. Sisodia told reporters later that they have also sought full-fledged state status for Delhi. Kejriwal is slated to meet Home Minister Rajanth Singh and President Pranab Mukherjee later today.
