Amaravati: On the occasion of the 42nd Foundation Day of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the party's National President Chandrababu Naidu extended his greetings to party leaders, workers, and supporters through a special tweet on Friday. He said, "Greetings to the supporters, workers, and leaders of the Telugu Desam Party on the occasion of its 42nd Foundation Day! Inspired by luminaries such as Kandukuri Veeresalingam, Gurajada Apparao, Potti Sriramulu, Ambedkar, and Jyotiba Phule, NTR announced the formation of the Telugu Desam Party on this day in 1982.
He taught that politics is not about enjoying power but about serving the people and introduced welfare governance to the nation's politics. He ensured that the people from deprived and vulnerable sections were not just voters but reached a position where they could influence politics. Since then, the Telugu Desam has been deeply engaged in serving the Telugu people with the goal of their fame and prosperity.
