Chittoor: Nara Bhuvaneswari, the wife of TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu, recently visited Kuppam for the 'Nijam Gelavali' campaign and engaged in a dialogue with the women of Kuppam as part of a financial empowerment program. During her speech, she criticized the deteriorating condition of the state under the YSRCP government, alleging that under Jagan's administration, Andhra Pradesh has become known as the "Cannabis Capital of India" and has ranked first in atrocities against women. She claimed that the YSRCP government has failed to take any measures to locate the 30,196 women who have gone missing between 2019 and 2021, as reported in the legislative assemblies by YSRCP representatives.

Bhuvaneswari asserted that if Chandrababu Naidu had been the Chief Minister, such incidents would not have occurred. She praised Naidu for his efforts in empowering women, including the implementation of reservations for women in local elections and promoting their involvement in politics.

She also highlighted the advancements made during Chandrababu Naidu's tenure, such as the establishment of educational institutions at various levels, advancements in IT, and economic empowerment initiatives for women, like the DWACRA groups.

Bhuvaneswari condemned the current government's handling of women's safety, stating that the initiatives like the Disha app have been ineffective. In response to questions, she praised Chandrababu Naidu's vision for women's empowerment, recalling his introduction of over 20 schemes for women and his commitment to their cause even during challenging times, such as his 53-day unjust imprisonment.

The conversation also touched upon Chandrababu Naidu's plans for the future, emphasizing the continued focus on women's development and the need for their active participation in the upcoming elections to ensure a better future.

Lastly, a question about promoting classical dance under Chandrababu Naidu's potential future term was answered positively, with Bhuvaneswari expressing confidence in his commitment to supporting and advancing cultural arts.
