YCP MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy resigns from the Party

Nellore: YCP MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy has decided to leave the party. Serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha, Vemireddy has today resigned from his primary membership of YCP, sending his resignation letter to the party president and Chief Minister Jagan.
Not only that, but Vemireddy has also said goodbye to the position of Nellore district president of YCP. Additionally, he made it clear that he is relinquishing his membership in the Rajya Sabha. He stated that he is stepping down from YCP due to personal reasons and has requested CM Jagan to immediately accept his resignation.
During the last elections, YCP was significantly strong in the united Nellore district. However, dissatisfaction within the district YCP has been simmering for some time now. Already, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, and Anam Ramanarayana Reddy have left YCP and moved closer to TDP. Now, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy's departure is seen as a major setback for YCP in Nellore district.
It has come to light that Vemireddy was not consulted during the appointment of Mohammad Khaleel as the Nellore City Coordinator. Since then, Vemireddy has not been actively participating in YCP activities.
Although Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy was the president of the Nellore district YCP, his opinions were not considered in the matters of constituency changes and nominations, which also fueled dissatisfaction among his supporters. After discussing with his supporters, Vemireddy has decided to resign.
