KCR dissolves all party committees, constitutes steering committee

Hyderabad, Feb 3, 2015: In a major decision, TRS President and Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao has dissolved all the existing party committees and formed a new steering committee in its place. Speaking at the party's extended meeting here on Tuesday, KCR said the party affairs would henceforth be run by the steering committee consisting of some active members. He has appointed a relatively low profile P.Rajeswara Reddy as the convener of the new steering committee. Meanwhile, KCR's sudden decision to dissolve the party committees at all levels and constitute a new steering committee in its place has shocked senior leaders of the party.
