Tenant farmer, wife commit suicide in Guntur district

Guntur, Jan 26, 2015: In an unfortunate incident, a tenant farmer and his wife committed suicide at Unguturu in Amaravati Mandalam of Guntur district this morning. The couple, Kurapati Sambaiah and Kotamma, ended their lives unable to bear the financial crisis they are pushed into. Villagers said the couple has been in dire straits due to unbearable debt burden. More details of the incident are awaited.
