TS ministers woo pharma firms to invest in state

New Delhi, Jan 23: Three Telangana ministers on Friday wooed pharma investors to invest in the proposed pharma city near Hyderabad on 11,000 acres. The ministers took part in the 66th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) being held in Hyderabad since Friday. They gave a call to to the delegates from the country and abroad to invest in Hyderabad. Addressing the inaugural session, Information Technology Minister K.T.Rama Rao said the state government has identified Life Sciences as one of the core thrust growth areas. Later, Minister of Industries Jupally Krishna Rao said red tape is totally banished in the state. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister T. Rajaiah also invited investors to make the state home for their incubation facilities.
