Telangana advocates file complaint against Lokesh
Hyderabad, Jan 19, 2015: Some Telangana advocates, led by one K.Govardhan Reddy , had approached Bajara Hills Police lodging a complaint against TDP youth leader Nara Lokesh for making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister KCR.
Lokesh, during his speech at NTR Trust Bhavan on the eve of NTR Vardhanti on Sunday, said that KCR is incapable of being Chief Minister of a state.
"Except for buying new vehicles for the Police department, KCR has done nothing for the people during the last six months, " Lokesh said.
Citing these comments as derogatory and defaming, the advocates filed the complaint and asked the police to register a case.
"Lokesh comments will promote enmity among groups of people on grounds of religion, place of birth, race and residence, " they said, seeking filing of case under sections 153 A and 504.
However, Banjara Hills Police said they have sought legal advice on filing a case.
