Vigil against SIMI terrorists stepped up in AP
Kadapa, Jan 9: Andhra Pradesh police is taking the lead in organising the inter-State border meeting with Chattisgarh, Odisha and Telangana states to come up with joint strategies to tackle extremists. Announcing this here on Friday, AP Director-General of Police J.V. Ramudu said the state's police machinery has increased its vigil against terrorist movement and to detain SIMI revels in the district of Nellore. Ramudu said as the majority of Maoists happen to be Telugu-speaking, there is a possibility for their silent presence in the state.
